Background

Europe is known for its cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity, but in recent years, intolerance has increasingly emerged, leading to hostile actions across the world. Immigration is a real challenge in the three countries, and the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are constantly in the minds of European youth. Many young people are verbally attacked, and they feel lonely and anxious. Through an analysis conducted at our three schools, we identified the need for a project focused on tolerance. Bullying, intolerance, racism, and ethnic prejudice are trends observed in the behavior of young people from the partner nations. The experience of loneliness and anxiety is also increasing among our students. With this project, we aimed to expose young minds to tolerance and diversity. We sought to increase tolerance at our schools and to share our results with other institutions, with the hope of fostering greater tolerance across Europe.
