The overall aim is to contribute to a sustainable and effective development of the European society, by supporting social innovation based on the principles of co-creation. In general the project will lead to the following results: 1) Co-define how to work with online and hybrid forms of co-creation. 2) Co-design flexible guidance and training tools. This will develop co-creation competencies with other stakeholders. 3) Co-refine the newly developed guidance and materials in a format that can be sustainably utilised across Europe. This will include the development and finalisation of how to evaluate co-creation projects. Furthermore the following specific results will be reached in the project: a) Create an online and hybrid co-creation curriculum based on Blended learning and Action learning principles. b) Establish a common knowledge base (materials, blogs etc.) on using co-creation in public service sectors c) Develop guidelines for transferring the new knowledge to the daily work. d) Develop a CoCreating evaluation model that can be used to document the impact of CoCreating programmes and projects. With this project, we want to increase the flexibility of the opportunities and the attractiveness of VET courses.
The project partners have previously completed an Erasmus+ project where training material was developed to increase competences for implementing Co-creation projects. The training material was well and thoroughly developed, but at the same time relatively traditionally organised with fixed time frames. Especially with co-creation programmes, there is a greater need for flexibility in the course. The project partners wanted to make the teaching material more flexible so that it could be better adapted to the wishes and needs of the course participants. The basic idea was to create a Lego brick concept where participants are guided through different phases and considerations. Furthermore, the delivery of the course itself has also been made more flexible, allowing for physical, online and hybrid delivery. Another important aspect is to strengthen the participants' competences to participate in discussions based on more general strategic approaches. In the participating countries, a need has been identified to strengthen the ability of employees to participate in these deliberations. And finally we also highlighted in gap in knowledge about evaluation of co-creation processes and so wanted to improve evidence-based co-evaluation.
