Objectives

Our project objectives were: - Adult trainers have new knowledge, skills and attitudes to plan and execute training by using new digital tools and methods. - We have created wellness, accessible and supportive training environment suitable for everybody.

Background

Estonian Rheumatism Association is an umbrella organisation for 12 local organisations and support groups. We organise trainings and programs for people with rheumatic diseases, family members and partners. We applied for funding to support our organisation trainers to acquire new skills and knowledge from similar organistions who have been successful in this area. Society has changed due to Covid pandemia and we have new challenges in our work. Physical trainings was not an option for our vulnerable target group and we needed to up-skill our trainers to continue their work. We could not find required competences nationally and therefore we were looking for partnership in EU level. We wanted to create more supportive and motivating training environment and support use innovative training tools (digital) to overcome our new challenges and needs.
