The aim of the Short-Term Job Shadow was to: Standardize the quality of services provided by Südamekodud AS and foster a unified team spirit. Develop care services through acquired and shared experiences. The achievement of the objectives was planned through the fulfillment of five learning outcomes (ILOs): (1) We learned about the elderly care system in the host country and learned about the organizational structure of nursing homes and the management structure of nursing homes, as well as how to implement key performance indicators (2) We got to know the ways of customer evaluation criteria and the practice of applying them in real situations (3) We learned how maintenance plans are prepared and used, how quality is assessed and how quality systems are made and implemented at a functional level (4) We learned how daily activities are carried out in the nursing home and how best practices are applied (5) We learned how staff training and support is done, and learned about the best practices of the host country's management and motivation programs.
Our various Südamekodud have joined the group at different times over the past few years. Each home has its own special history, background, infrastructure, work culture and customs. We have set four strategic goals for the next three years, which characterize our plans well: harmonization of service quality, becoming an attractive employer, further development of care services and sustainable company development. Study tours were a great opportunity to learn from the best practices of other service providers and experience different cultures. Innovation and development are also important to us, because only by keeping up with changes can we offer the best service to our customers.
