Objectives

By implementing the project, we wanted to support the professional development of school employees by offering them international experience. The aim was to develop new and existing school curricula by looking for good ideas and experiences from the best practices of other countries. In terms of students, the goal was to increase the number of students who complete part of the internship in a foreign country following the curriculum. We wanted to support the students' self-management skills and professional development by offering an international experience.

Background

At the beginning of 2022, when we wrote this project, Kehtna Vocational Education Center was also preparing a new development plan for the years 2022-2025. The focus of the new development plan was four strategic goals: Shaping a cooperative school culture, supporting the development of students' self-management skills, integrating vocational and general education, and strengthening international cooperation. COVID was leaving behind, ERASMUS+ activities at the school had greatly decreased due to various restrictions. At that moment, the school also lacked ERASMUS+ accreditation.
