The main objective of the project was to enhance the internationalization of the Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA), positioning it as a leading creative university within the Nordic and Baltic regions. By fostering international relationships, the project aimed to ensure that every member of the EKA community experiences international learning or collaboration. EKA strives to maintain its ranking among the top art and design universities worldwide, as recognized in the QS World University Rankings since 2017. The university is committed to creating a culturally diverse and globally aware community, with graduates and staff actively engaged in the global job market. The growth of internationalisation requires students and faculty to be better prepared to operate in culturally diverse environments. The project supports the creation of valuable social networks through academic and work mobility, laying the foundation for future professional collaborations. All EKA programs, including those taught in Estonian, incorporate international competencies, achieved through student and staff mobility and the involvement of top specialists as ERASMUS incoming experts in various fields.
