The main goal of "StressOff" was to give the participating young people a set of tools on how to deal with negative stress and to encourage them to take more care of their mental well-being. The project aimed to give the participants basic tools and knowledge in their own language to succeed in everyday and work life. Another objective was to give each participating country the local contact information to receive help from. During the project, the youngsters were encouraged to stay off from social media and to be more in contact with their surroundings. During the project the young adults were analysing the effects of social media on a person’s self-image and got the chance to make more meaningful connections with their peers around Europe and experience the difference in one’s feelings when not being able to use social media every day. The concrete objectives for this project were: -To destigmatize stereotypes and prejudices around mental health. -To encourage participants to take more care of their mental health. -To encourage participants to take more time off social media. -To try out different tools for handling stress. - To learn about inner and outer factors which influence the stress-levels and how to solve them.
