Objectives

The aim of the project was to support and enhance mobility cooperation with both existing and new partners from third countries not associated with the Programme, thereby facilitating internationalisation at home and introducing EU higher education to non-EU colleagues and students. The Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMÜ) received funding to support mobilities with a total of 16 partner universities . EMÜ had previously cooperated with ten of these institutions through earlier KA171 and KA107 projects, while six were new partners. In selecting new partners, we considered the project’s priority of focusing on the African region and made efforts to establish and strengthen relationships with institutions from this strategic area. Nevertheless, we faced certain challenges in fully achieving this objective. *Due to introduced sanctions three Russian HEIs were initially excluded from cooperation. In this project we tried to give as many opportunities as possible to our young researchers and teaching staff to develop cooperation with foreign partners for them to establish connections and develop them further in their future career. Student mobilities also remain a priority for EMÜ.
