Objectives

By implementing the project Tallinn University (TLU) aimed to expand its global network and partnerships, as well as diversify academic perspectives and practices. This involved strengthening existing academic links and fostering new ones to enable expertise and knowledge transfer. A key objective was to promote Estonian education and achievements abroad, such as e-governance, digitalisation and start-ups, while also learning from partners. TLU's mission strongly supported the development of global, sustainable, and smart living environments by contributing to digital transformation and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) curricula development. The university also sought to address societal challenges, including those related to aging societies and the digital divide, and to promote inclusion and diversity by ensuring the participation of individuals with fewer opportunities.
