Background

The project "Innovative Care Methods: The Evolution of Technology for the Care of Persons with Disabilities" was carried out with the aim of upgrading the quality of care provided to our beneficiaries, i.e. people with disabilities, through the training of the staff employed in the relevant structure in new technologies. KEDITH is the acronym of the Community Enterprise of the Municipality of Thessaloniki that emerged in 2012. The design, organisation and implementation of youth actions, projects and events, the promotion of European youth policy at local and national level, the dialogue with young people in Europe, the creation of structures and actions for children and young people and the creation of youth centres were added to the 2014 objectives with a view to the launch of the European Youth Capital. KEDITH has a creative center for people with disabilities, five creative learning centers for children aged 5-12, the Europe Direct Information Center, a Day Care Center for the Elderly and was part of the Intercity Youth Network, the Network of European Youth Capitals and Europe Goes Local. KEDITH coordinates the Municipal Youth Council and participates in European projects.
