Objectives

To enhance social, educational and economic sustainability, through 2030 Agenda and the SDGs. To promote the entrepreneurial culture in adult education as an engine for sustainable development and stimulate collaborations between the socioeconomic environment. To acquire new tools in order to improve our methodology and reach a wide audience/variety of students and improve quality in adult education. With an eye to the internationalization of our key educators/trainers and schools, we have designed this learning mobility project for our key people, under the Erasmus +programme. Our ultimate goal, through the continuous training of our teaching staff, is to promote innovation in terms of methodological developments and sustainable development. One of our focuses was to be able to train ourselves in a. sustainable entrepreneurial practices and b. innovative digital tools. The combination of both acquired skills will help us design new programmes to empower students, especially those living in rural areas (eg. the Greek islands).

Background

ELA was created to improve the quality of educational services, to promote educational values, and help people find their place in the modern world. Our aim is to change the notion of education: We are a group of inspired schools, ready to provide the language learning community with cutting-edge approaches and reliable methods, ultimately helping people to realize their potential and find their place in the modern world. With a team of highly experienced trainers, teachers and coaches we support our students and their families in their personal development. We offer training in a number of foreign languages as well as life skills. We place special emphasis on educational entrepreneurship, by which we mean the progress and development of entrepreneurial profiles that are capable of being part of social change. This is done through the personal development of entrepreneurial skills related to people's ability to put their own ideas into action. Our collaborating schools focus on the development of foreign language skills for intercultural communication, students’ interpersonal skills (communication, relationships, etc); digital competences (e-learning, LMS, blended learning, flipped c/room approach, STEM etc); 21st c. skills etc
