Objectives

We identified 3 basic objectives that we wanted to achieve: 1) Human resource development through the acquisition of new skills and abilities so that our trainers remain aware of issues related to their scientific domain e.g. psychology, sociology, education/training. 2) Methodological innovation aimed at parents with migrant and/or disadvantaged financial background so that we are in a better position to expand and adapt our educational interventions to parents from vulnerable social groups and therefore to meet their differentiated needs. 3) Establishing contacts with foreign partners and introducing a European dimension that will allow us to expand the horizons of our organization and will facilitate our long-term plans for sustainable and cross-border cooperation with our European colleagues.

Background

As an organisation promoting psychosocial health and wellbeing, we decided that in the context of mobility and cooperation we want to focus on the further development of activities targeting vulnerable groups. This is because such actions have proven to be particularly successful as evidenced by the intense interest shown by our target groups. We also wanted to be able to make the most of the possibilities and opportunities offered under the Erasmus+. The training of our staff on issues of development of psychosocial health and the monitoring of work in a corresponding organization significantly contributed to the improvement of the implementation of educational interventions of our organization and this was the main motivation behind our project.
