Objectives

1. The period of isolation of the pandemic crisis in relation to all the other problems that arose as a result of this crisis in the families (financial and emotional nature), showed the need to strengthen the mental resilience of teachers and therefore their students. 2. The development of the emotional intelligence of our students during the post-pandemic period we consider to be the appropriate counterweight to the fear, stress and insecurity they experienced and carry within them. 3. The effects of bullying and cyberbullying behaviors trouble us in order to seek to know the specific steps that can be taken in order not only to stop, but also to prevent. 4. As the pandemic and efforts to control it continue, teachers are certainly facing unprecedented work stress, which often hinders their effectiveness, and we must support them.

Background

The mobility project entitled "Education in a post-pandemic school" designed by the 14th Primary School of Rethymno within ERASMUS + is a proposal that emerged from the need identified by the Teachers Association, the school needs to: - support the students, guardians, teachers of the school community who are affected by the pandemic, - respond more effectively to the social, economic and cultural diversity of his / her students, - strengthen to develop an effective internal school policy plan for the smooth integration of refugees / immigrant students / three, but also - cultivate a safe learning environment that is inspired by a spirit of cooperation, solidarity and respect for diversity - to continue to monitor international and European reports in its field education. For the fulfillment of the above needs it was decided that the school should participate in 4 different educational activities.
