The implementation of the programme, which focuses on our cultural and natural link, the Mediterranean, seeks to achieve the following objectives: - To apply active and innovative methodologies in real learning contexts, making the learner the protagonist of his/her own learning. - Promoting a culture of democracy through dialogue and cooperation to understand and solve common problems such as climate change - Promoting the value of linguistic and cultural diversity to foster inclusion and tolerance in the context of a common European culture - Improving language skills and enhancing digital skills while ensuring the security and protection of personal data and intellectual property rights.
The decision for this project was taken because of the profile of our students, the necessities and challenges facing the public school after the pandemic, the need for extroversion and the need to highlight "we" and not "I" and our firm belief that Erasmus+ programmes ensure added value for all participants and constitute valuable life experiences. Furthermore, it is our fundamental belief that the programme will contribute to renewing the relationship of students and teachers with knowledge and learning, enriching learning experiences, modernising teaching tools and resources, strengthening democratic values, and enhancing the linguistic and digital skills that will promote the professional development of teachers and students. A key role was also played by our cooperation with the Spanish school in the framework of an eTwinning project, the search for specific cultural characteristics and our desire to strengthen the links between the collaborating students and teachers and their experiences, to highlight common concerns and to reinforce the values of mutual respect, tolerance and inclusion.
