What we want for our school and ourselves is to become better and stronger. As educators, we feel that we really need more training, especially in ICT, in distant/blended learning and in classroom management. In a constantly more and more demanding environment, we sense that we need support, new knowledge, methods, ideas and experiences which will empower us, increase our resilience and our potential for self-improvement, therefore making us more effective and productive. Also, our interaction with other European teachers who face the same or even different challenges is invaluable.
Our school first applied for the Erasmus KA1 and KA2 in 2019 and we were eligible. Despite all the difficulties due to the pandemic, it has been a wonderful experience which has given us strength and optimism and has benefited our students. Moreover, it has made us realize just how much we needed, as a learning organization and as individuals the extroversion, the fresh knowledge and the new experiences that only an Erasmus project can provide. The participants have really become the best Erasmus ambassadors.
