The professional development of our teachers, the promotion of digital education and democratic participation, the formation of environmental consciousness, the awareness of the consequences of climate change, and the awareness of global citizenship. The need to invent ways to solve the problems we face, using modern methods and technologies, which our students will use and act accordingly. We want our school to become a living cell of society that will highlight skills and encourage active participation and solving important problems.
Our organization provides general education. The education provided at the 1st Gymnasium of Messolonghi aims to promote the all-round development of the students based on the possibilities they have at this age and the demands they have to face in life. It also helps students to expand their value system, to complement and combine the acquisition of knowledge with corresponding social concerns, to cultivate their linguistic expression, to get to know the various forms of art, to form an aesthetic criterion, to realize the possibilities , their inclinations, skills and interests. Cultural, environmental, robotics programs are held every year and students are trained to participate in competitions and festivals. From the 2019-2020 school year, our organization participates in Erasmus+ programs. Our project is related to the training of our teachers in environmental protection, climate change and global citizen education using new technologies and education with outdoor activities.
