We believe as a school that the learning process is a lifelong process. The program aims for teachers to enrich their teaching with innovative and creative methods and to get to know new ideas and good practices through observation , exchange of opinions and experiences with colleagues from Europe. Also, the program aims to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities through interaction with our European partners but also through attending training seminars on a variety of topics (digital literacy, soft skills and emotional intelligence, classroom management, creativity and critical thinking, intercultural education and diversity). In this way, we have the opportunity to benefit as individuals and as educators, to help our students acquire skills and learn better and more effectively, and to support our school to create a healthier, more sustainable , digital, inclusive, democratic educational environment. Finally, to strengthen the feeling that we belong to a wider European family and to lay the foundations for future collaborations with organizations in Europe.
TRITO LYKEIO ΧΑΝΤΗΙS is a secondary education school attended by students from different social, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Our school implements Environmental and Health programs, internal teacher training and various actions that benefit students, parents and the local community. Our main concerns and goals are democratic procedures, multiculturalism/diversity, inclusion, digital proficiency, sustainability and environmental/ecological issues. We believe in cooperation and peer- learning. With the "Upgrading our knowledge, skills and capacities through job shadowing and training courses" program, the school unit aims at the upgraded training of teachers in order to acquire skills, capacities and knowledge and to enrich their teaching methodology with innovative and creative methods in order to provide our students with greater opportunities for learning, skills and critical thinking. Through communication and interaction with European colleagues and with training courses these goals will be more easily achieved for our school, for our students and for our community.
