After attending the seminars in the educational organizations we have chosen, we want participating teachers to acquire skills both in the use of digital applications and their teaching to become more interesting and attractive to students and "green" to help the transition of the school to an eco school. Also to improve their linguistic and communication skills, apply innovative teaching methods, feel confident and improve their prestige in the school community. Our students will get in touch with new teaching methods, learn to work together, get involved in environmental actions, improve the attitude towards environmental issues, understand that they should actively participate in the problems of the school and the greater community. Additionally, our school becomes the place that will educate the citizens of the future to be active members of the community, informed in digital technology and global environmental problems. Finally, collaboration and contact with other European schools will open the horizons and give a European dimension to the school.
Our school is a public, all -day elementary school in a semi –urban area. 181 students, aged 7-12, years old attend there and are taught by 28 teachers of various specialties. We aim to provide incentives for learning in and out of school, creating a friendly environment for our students, integrating them fully into the learning process, in collaboration with parents and, in general, with the local community. We have participated in cultural, environmental and Erasmus and Etwinning programs that were awarded a national and European label. We want our students to become familiar with digital applications and actively participate in environmental problems. Our school, while housed in a bioclimatic building, is not enough activities in this direction. Its terrace is embarrassed but not planted. Even though our teachers are experienced, they do not have enough training in technology and the ecological management of our school. So we chose in our work two directions, digital and ecological. After training, we will aim for actions to make our school "green" and our students active citizens of the future, fully up -to -date in a digital and an environmental self.
