Objectives

Our main goal is to update the knowledge of teachers who will participate in the program on issues related to the use of computers and all tools related to the use of ICT in the educational process. However, apart from training in purely technical issues, our equally basic goal is to be informed about the pedagogical dimension of the use of these tools. This means that simple knowledge of technological tools is not enough, but equally - if not more - important is the knowledge of their practical application in the context of the classroom and teaching. This is important because our target is our adolescent students, an audience that is already familiar with technological tools and therefore more demanding of the proper application of these tools to acquire knowledge.

Background

The main reason for our application was the fact that most of the teachers of the school realized, especially during the pandemic period and the use of distance education, that the developments in the field of application of ICT in education are advancing rapidly and the knowledge they had previously acquired in seminars or as a result of individual effort were now obsolete and in need of modernization. Their goal is, as most of them are in the most creative phase of their career - as they combine a lot of experience but also the ambition to create - to acquire all those tools that will allow them to offer even more benefits to their students at a time when the fourth industrial revolution is in full swing and poses new challenges to citizens and especially young people who will be called upon to operate in a knowledge-demanding and globalized environment.
