The social and cultural context of modern societies has been going through significant transformation. Schools need to be able to deal with the new realities and provide better but above all relevant educational services to the students. This can only be accomblished by empowered educators with a clear sense of purpose. Erasmus programmes allow educators to actually collaborate and experience a fresh a more outward outlook. At the same time, it provides space for personal and professional growth through its impact to local communities and the challenges it poses to the teachers. Finally, it will hopefully enhance our networks in European level and allow us to build up a more solid and lasting network that will enrich possibilities and open perspectives.
