With this program we aim to reap long-term benefits for the school unit, teachers, students. We seek the school to be bound by social requirements, to harmonize with social conditions, so that the quality of education provided is high for all.We consider it necessary to systematize the organization of the intercultural programs that will be implemented. The cognitive results that will result through specialized techniques from the elaboration of the actions to be the maximum possible and to be diffused to a wider set of recipients, to ensure equal access to education, without exclusion. To be able to identify risk factors, obstacles , (linguistic, cultural, stereotypical) to intervene purposefully or individually with innovative activities. Parallel goal, to build a climate of team, cooperation, solidarity, acceptance, respect and inclusion between students and their families
In Greece, students of other nationalities have risen sharply due to the refugee crisis and immigration. Social reality demands the smooth coexistence of cultures with the formation of a new global citizen. This is what we seek through our education. The provision of intercultural education in our school: - will tackle the alienation of school migrants and refugees, -will contribute to their smooth adaptation and integration into the school and social environment, -the healing of their mental traumas and the aggressive behavior that results from them and the upgrading of their interest in school and the fight against school dropout - fight stereotypes, prejudices and racist attitudes - will face social exclusion .-will train staff to deal with communication, adaptation and management problems in multicultural classrooms - fight problems of xenophobia, racial or other forms of racism.
