Our students are our future and to empower them with digital and social skills together with increased awareness and insight about the environement and climate change is our school's main goal. Therefore our objectives in this project are: To create a high-performing digital education ecosystem for our students by enhancing their digital competences; To raise awareness of our students for the climate change/crisis by deepening their knowledge and consciousness of environmental issues; To improve foreign language skills together with key competences like leadership, creativity, critical thinking, complex problem-solving skills, communication and organizational skills; Exchange of good practices through collaborative work with European schools to develop professional skills on using digital tools and STEM practices to empower teachers and pupils for the digital era;
Ιnspired by our participation in eTwinning partnerships, this project proposal is designed in order to achieve a GREEN and DIGITAL EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM for our school. We want to realize this project to come up with solutions for: Low competence in digital learning environments tools; The fact that online lessons, assignments and projects has remained boring and not interactive; Poor level of insight and motivation of our pupils and teachers towards environmental matters. Poor level of awareness of students and teachers about challenges and opportunities of the digital world regarding the media literacy and disinformation issues; Need to discover innovative and motivative ways to make students aware of environmental challenges and let them be active; Few opportunities to experience real environments and European cultures
