During the pandemic and the enforecement of numerous lockdowns our students have experienced stressful situations in their homes. We constantly come across with conflict in their interpersonal relationships and also conflict in the classrooms. We feel that there is a need to manage conflict in the classroom and attending courses under this topic will improve conflict management.
As our school is a remote state secondary school, the teachers do not have the opportunity to attend seminars and enhance the teaching procedure and the methods they use. Thus we feel that if the opportunity is given to our staff to attend different training courses, they will later be able to implement the knowledge gained and help students learn better. .At the same time we are at a crossroad of educational changes in the Greek educational system resulting in increased responsibilities and skills that our teaching staff need to develop in order achieve higher competence in different fields of the teaching procedure. That is why we consider that the Erasmus + actions wiil be the means that will give our school the possibility to move forward. We consider that both students and teachers are lacking interaction with new approaches in teaching. By attending certain courses through this application we are hoping to further develop the teaching quality in our school.
