Background

After the COVID19 pandemic, the traditional classroom is no longer the only place for engaging learning. Physically remote classrooms, online learning spaces, and hybrid environments with both online and in-person students have all become part of a new educational environment that educators are being asked to familiarize themselves with. According to recent legislation: 1) article 2 of YA 131451/GD4/30-09-2020 "In the event of an extraordinary or unforeseen event, ... the primary and secondary education school units are obliged to provide modern distance education." 2) In Article 86 of Law 4823 2/8/2021 for the evaluation of school students, "utilization of the characteristics and stages of application of the inverted classroom model" will be made. It therefore becomes necessary to train the teachers of our school in the following subjects: 1) distance education to promote collaborative learning through online platforms and tools that allow interaction between students. 2) implementing the flipped classroom model to guide their students to take responsibility for their learning and develop self-directed skills.
