Our School has set three main lines of action for the upcoming years, which can respond to the identified needs of the teaching staff and our students. A. The development of a framework for the introduction of educational innovation, through the revitalization of old collaborations, formed in the context of older European projects and the enrichment with new ones by the creation of organizational and personal educational networks .Β. The search, identification and emergence of new opportunities for the development of the teaching staff, through the improvement of their professional skills: The goal of our School is for the next three years all the colleagues to benefit from education and training actions in subjects of their interest. C. The upgrade of the educational work of our School by providing quality education in a supportive inclusive student-centred environment.
During the procedures of school planning, the teachers of our School expressed their desire for their training in modern pedagogical methods, teaching methodologies and educational tools. A skills shortage was identified in the above areas, which unfortunately is not covered by the minimal educational opportunities provided in the area. Issues of classroom management, developing the dynamics of the student group, conflict management between students and in general issues related to the school daily life of the children were also identified and confirmed during the self-evaluation process of our school. In addition, there was an insufficient utilization of new models of education (eg STEM) but also the implementation of new initiatives that mobilize and activate the student population as a whole, such as robotics and coding. ERASMUS + action ΚΑ122-SCH provides an excellent opportunity to meet our identified needs.
