The main objectives of the 1st Vocational High School of Dafni through the implementation of the project were as follows: A) Acquisition of skills in new digital applications in tourism for the effective utilization of the internet and new information and communication technologies within the framework of the internationalization of the activities of tourism businesses. B) Acquisition of professional experience and expertise through training in real working conditions in top companies in the tourism sector, interaction, and collaboration at the European level. C) Cultivation of linguistic and intercultural skills and the development of outwardness, as necessary assets for action and active participation within the context of the globalized society and economy
The 1st Vocational High School of Dafni is a professional Lyceum aiming to provide comprehensive general education that will contribute to the holistic social and personal development of its students. At the core of its educational philosophy lies the cultivation of contemporary vocational knowledge and skills required for their smooth integration into the labor market and response to modern professional developments. In addition to compulsory subjects (general education, specialties, and laboratory exercises), it organizes and implements educational, social, and cultural activities that promote creative expression, the development of critical thinking, and communication, contributing to the socialization of students within a broader intercultural framework. Within the scope of this application are the educational programs of the specialties of Informatics and Economics/Administration.
