What we want to achieve is to strengthen the skills of trainers and trainees, through various new techniques and methods. The contact and acquaintance of the instructors, in the first phase, with new educational practices and procedures will strengthen their learning profile and make the learning process more productive. On the other hand, the trainees will come into contact with real practice conditions that will help them in their working future and in their smoother integration into the working society. Therefore, the goals are multifaceted and multifactorial.
The 1st E.K. Patras is a public VET provider and serves 6 EPA.L. of the wider area supporting the educational project as it provides all the necessary support for the conduct of laboratory courses. The large number of EPA.L. that it serves gives a special character to the organization, as it serves eight of the 9 sectors of VET with the exception of the maritime sector. It also serves the laboratory part of the Apprenticeship departments. It has upgraded equipment that can support high-level laboratory exercises. In recent years, in fact, the equipment of some specialties has been upgraded to a large extent, which now operate in a more modernized way. In this context, the selection of programs and actions is necessary for the further support of these specialties with increased expertise and training.
