Enrichment and adoption of new technological developments in the learning subjects of the existing study programs offered by our institution. The attractiveness and efficiency of an educational structure is directly related to updated content, new methods and innovative tools. With this project, gaps in the study content of the field of Aesthetics-Hairdressing were covered, with modern subjects not covered until now, such as the implement of green chemistry in beauty salons/hairdressing salons, offering students the opportunity to experience a field that in the coming decades will represents a cutting edge for the industry. The specific objective is also directly linked to the identified needs of the organization in terms of: the acquisition of work experience, the development of the knowledge, abilities, skills and critical thinking of the trained students and staff - creation of a competitive advantage, the expansion of professional horizons, the cultivation international perception and culture, the empowerment of personality through inclusion and avoiding exclusion.
The Center for Lifelong Learning Level 1 (K.D.Vi.M. 1) KEPANSI is active in the field of Vocational Education and Training, operating in Heraklion of Crete since 1992, Its main purpose is to provide high-quality theoretical and practical training to the specialties/fields offered so that its trainees can successfully integrate into the labor market and effectively respond to its demands and challenges. In particular, specialization is offered in the fields of Aesthetics, Cosmetics, Hairdressing, Professional Make-up, Manicure-Pedicure Art, Reflexology etc., with programs studies lasting four and two academic semesters depending on the specialty. This plan includes 1 flow of Beauticians and 1 flow of Hairdressers. These specialties are numerically larger, the interest of them students very large and the selected training content is a matter of high priority.
