Equal access and transition to labour marketDevelopment of disadvantaged rural and urban areas

Objectives

Through the implementation of the mobility plan, the aim was to ensure the sustainable professional development of students and future employees. It became imperative that students be equipped with professional skills that will enable them to contest a job in the ever-changing and competitive environment of the contemporary labour market. By gaining work experience in the internship institutions, participants became able to adapt to changes in the workplace and meet its emerging demands. At the same time, a prerequisite for the further growth and development of our organization and its connection with society is the cultivation of extroversion through innovative actions. Finally, the development and consolidation of cooperative relations with European institutions and with society - national and European - was another goal of the project.

Background

The economic crisis of the past decade brought about structural changes in the countries that experienced it, resulting in a radical reconfiguration of the working environment and industrial relations. The health crisis of recent years has given rise to new challenges in economy and the labour market. Under these circumstances, our organisation aims through the planning and implementation of the mobility at preparing future employees to be able to respond positively to the challenges of the new era. At the same time, to "equip" them with the necessary skills in order to meet the requirements of the modern and changing work environment and the modern digital era, which also characterizes employment. At the same time, our organisation needs to expand its activities beyond the micro-world in which it operates, to develop its extroversion and to strengthen its European orientation. Finally, the need for professional development and advancement of the school's teaching staff is considered crucial in order to enable them to meet the challenges of their demanding and multifaceted work.
