The main objectives of the project were: a) Improvement of education and services provided by the university to the academic community and the society in general. The teaching staff participating in the mobility actions is expected to enrich, expand and renew their research and teaching experience. The students are expected to enrich their expertise, to learn foreign languages and familiarize themselves with the different cultural elements of each country. Incoming students obtain relavant experiences and new opportunities in line with the above mentioned. The mobility of administrative staff aims at their education and the transfer of good practices and knowhow overall. b) The need for the increase of courses offered in English is of outmost importance, since the demand of incoming teaching staff and students has notably enlarged. c) The steady increase of the number of student mobility on an annual basis (according to the European strategic goals for education), while encouraging and supporting at the same time students from disadvantaged background or students with disabilities and learning difficulties, in other words students with fewer opportunities. d) The constant increase of the staff mobility for teaching and training. e) The reinforcement of the reputation and the internationalization of our University.
