Objectives

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) during the implementation of the mobility project 2022-1-EL01-KA131-HED-000058893, aimed, within the framework of its internationalization strategy, to develop activities and collaborations mainly at European but also at wider international level. The specific objective was to achieve an increase in collaborations with European educational institutions and the expansion of student host agencies from all countries participating in the Erasmus+ program, while improving the quality of services provided to participants. More specifically, it sought the greatest possible mobility of students and staff to and from the partner Universities with which it had concluded bilateral agreements and the increase of the participation of students and recent graduates in many student host organizations for the realization of an internship in the countries participating in Erasmus+ in Europe. It also sought the increase of short-term mobilities in the context of Blendend Intensive programs, especially for students who are not able due to several reasons, economic or social, to participate in long-term mobilities. At the same time, it aimed at better, faster management of support services for both incoming students and staff as well as outgoing ones. In addition, it implemented and funded 9 Blended Intensive Programs through which the creativity, inspiration and motivation for further research and the development of critical thinking of participants were achieved.
