The University of the Peloponnese emphasizes scientific and educational excellence and seeks to highlight its comparative advantages. It has undertaken initiatives aimed at the extroversion of the institution and the strengthening of its international presence, through scientific and research programs, international conferences and international collaborations, as stated in the extroversion and internationalization strategy of the Institution, which is posted on the Erasmus+ website of the University: erasmus.uop.gr . Regarding the general objectives, the University is aligned with the principles of the Erasmus Charter, is oriented towards the dissemination of mobility results and the expansion of existing collaborations and the creation of new collaborations. Cooperation protocols have been signed with several European countries, mainly through the Erasmus program, with the aim of promoting international mobility for faculty members, staff and students, as well as cooperation protocols with ΗΕΙ's in countries outside the EU, both in Europe (e.g. the Balkans) and in Africa and in countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, etc., with institutions whose internationalization strategies are compatible.
