Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the internationalization of the University of Piraeus in countries outside Europe, primarily in the Western Balkans, the Neighborhood countries, and the Southern Mediterranean countries. It promotes the University’s participation in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program through long-term partnerships with institutions in third countries, enhancing its international visibility and its role as a hub for attracting students, particularly from the Mediterranean region. It provides opportunities for students and staff to gain international experience and develop skills, while simultaneously strengthening partner universities through policies and actions aligned with the European Higher Education Area. The project contributes to improving internationalization strategies, managing European/international projects, attracting additional funding, and creating a modern, collaborative university environment. Finally, it covers all types of student mobility (studies, internships) and staff mobility (teaching, training) between universities and businesses.
