The specific project, call 2022 of the University of the Aegean (UAegean), aimed to the implementation of international mobilities in all types of activities (learning mobilities for studies and traineeships, staff mobilities for teaching or training) for incoming and outgoing participants in a wide range of partner HEIs within regions 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11 and 12, in a wide range of significant subject areas, offered by its departments (maritime, environment, engineering, informatics, social and educational sciences).Additionally, in accordance with the institutional strategic plan of internationalization of UAegean (https://modip.aegean.gr/) and its Erasmus+ policy statement, (https://erasmus.aegean.gr/en/erasmus-policy-statement), as well as the national agenda for the modernization of higher education, the aim was to strengthen the internationalization of the research activities and study programs of the University departments, the fruitful exchange of good practices though the expansion of its collaborations with HEIs in Partner Countries, and, ultimately, the international promotion of the identity of UAegean and its distinctive character, due to its location in the south-east border of Europe and its multi-island structure.
