The main objectives ultimately achieved by the implementation of the project were: 1. through the cooperation of the two Schools, students, teachers and parents to cultivate skills of empathy, tolerance, inclusion of children with special educational needs and sensitive social groups such as Roma and economic migrants. 2. to disseminate in practice the knowledge gained by the teachers from attending the project on inclusion during the implementation of Erasmus+KA122 : -EL01-KA122-SCH-000079937 which was successfully completed through collaborative artistic activities. 3. To adopt modern techniques of inclusion and integration through art (music, cinema, dance therapy, crafts), technology (robotics), as well as through contact with nature, animals and exercise (horse riding and climbing) . 4 To reinforce the concept of "togetherness" in our school communities, through the creation of groups (choir, robotics, crafts, cinema, dance therapy, horse riding and climbing).
The reason why the Teachers' Association decided to apply for funding for this topic was initially to put into practice the knowledge gained by the teachers from attending the seminars on inclusion through their involvement in the KA122 Project: -EL01-KA122-SCH-000079937. The fact that both schools (Greece-Italy) have students with special educational needs as well as students from vulnerable social groups (Roma, economic migrants) has imposed the need to search for modern methods and techniques for their inclusion both in the classroom and in the wider school community.
