"Mi Terra Yi was conceived as a Learning Mobility program tailored for youth workers, with the overarching objective of nurturing and empowering the inherent capacity for caregiving within them. This nurturing aspect was deeply rooted in the principle of 'Caring for the People,' a fundamental tenet of Permaculture philosophy. Consequently, our primary commitment was to cultivate a safe and inclusive space, with a pronounced emphasis on prioritizing inclusion during the subsequent Youth Exchange program that followed the Learning Mobility initiative. In the Youth Exchange, we extended invitations to both young individuals with disabilities and those without, with the provision of appropriate support for participants with disabilities. Through this mobility initiative, we actively exemplified the importance of diversity, recognizing it as an indispensable requisite within the human ecosystem, paralleling its significance in natural ecosystems.
