Young or old, there are certain topics which are regularly coming back to human lives. Our ability to handle them is reflecting our well-being. Those topics are nicely correlating with the philosophy hidden behind Chakras - eastern philosophical system. We are not preaching the eastern philosophies, though, only using them as a metaphor to the real problems in our society. We did research among our target groups to discover the main aching topics in their lives. Majority of respondents was identifying 2 topics: - Life & job (in general, to have a good job, yet happy life as well) - Mental health (loneliness, anxieties, low self-esteem, etc. - which is extremely important now as mental problems doubled during the Covid pandemic) Especially the 2nd topic is connected to psychological problems responding with Chakras. If the mental wound is not healed and mental health restored, people will hardly reach a happy life and job. Taking those as a foundation stone, we have set up the VISION of Chakras project as INNER PEACE that allows a balanced and happy life, calmly approaching any emotions we can feel and processing them in a healthy and sustainable way. Our GOAL was “To create a system for self-care on an everyday basis”. OBJECTIVES: A) Gather 42 participants (7 group leaders and 35 youth) where at least 60 % of youngsters (21 participants) is with fewer opportunities B) Boost the emotional intelligence (and therefore an emotional health) of all participants at least +3 points out of 7 C) Learn on sustainability in our lives - at least +3 points out of 7 D) Develop beta-version of tool for sustainable approach to mental health in our daily lives and disseminate it The projects contributed to - sustainable growth and driving innovation - active citizenship Project was aligned with the priorities of E+ - Inclusion and Diversity, Digital transformation, and Environment and fight against climate change When it comes to youth goals, it was primarily connected to the #5 Mental Health & Well-being.
