Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the measures applied to combat it, Europe reported a sharp increase in youth unemployment rates. While there was a noticeably decreasing unemployment trend before COVID-19 in 2020 and after 2021, this issue again appeared to be one of the burning problems in Europe. On the other hand, digitalization under COVID-19 shocked many industries and the educational system. Employees were then required to have a set of digital skills that met the measures applied globally. The project aimed to change the attitude of young people towards social entrepreneurship from passive to active and raise their self-confidence by developing digital and management skills. Based on everything previously mentioned, the main objectives of this project were: • To explore the concept of entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on the social dimension; • To awaken and foster the entrepreneurial spirit of young people, boost creativity and entrepreneurial mindset; • To improve youngsters' digital competencies; • To empower youngsters with multiplying skills, knowledge, and attitudes to spread project outputs to their local communities; • To raise awareness of green management and provide a base for sustainable projects as an essential part of the social dimension; • To promote non-formal education and Erasmus+ as a support tool for empowering young people to focus on entrepreneurship; • To raise participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries, offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts, participate in social activities and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity. The project objectives corresponded to the Erasmus+ Program by enhancing the general education of youth and building key competencies of the participants, including the ones with fewer opportunities. It also corresponded to the 11 European Youth Goals set by The EU Youth Strategy as the framework for EU youth policy cooperation for 2019-2027, promoting and bringing closer Quality Employment for All and connecting the EU with Youth. The project supported diversity and built respect and intercultural tolerance. It was an excellent example of equality and inclusion, connected with a safe and trustworthy environment. The valuable contribution enhanced collaboration between youth organizations and better youth work practices, promoted in Europe, the trust in these organizations among young people, and increased participation in international and national projects.
