Our project "Thank You for Welcoming Them" had the main objective of: Strengthening and developing professional and personal skills within our teams. The goal was to improve their capacity to effectively support migrants and refugees, through continuous training and the acquisition of new skills suitable for our missions. Increasing our knowledge of the context in which migrants and refugees arrive. We wanted to deepen our understanding of their experiences and specific needs to adjust our interventions appropriately. Creating partnership opportunities among all involved actors, including hosting organizations. The idea was to weave a collaborative network to exchange practices, work on common projects, and support each other. The ambition was to promote enhanced cooperation and better cohesion in the field of migrant reception and integration in Europe.
Our project "Thank You for Welcoming Them" / "Gracias por acogerlos" has addressed the isolation of professionals working with migrants in Europe, often limited by a local perspective. We organized mobilities to exchange information on the reception of migrants, thus strengthening the competencies of the stakeholders. Our partners, experts in the support of young adult migrants, have shared innovative educational methods. Participants have experienced these practices in immersion, fostering understanding and European cooperation in the integration of migrants. This project has created a more competent European network, reflecting our commitment to the continuous improvement of the reception of migrants.
