Objectives

The primary goal of the ATLASS project was to promote values of inclusion, diversity, tolerance, and democratic participation among participants and within the organisational structure. The fundamental challenge was to enhance the linguistic competencies and environmental and climate knowledge of the trainers, utilising European mobility experiences. The specific objectives were: O1 - To strengthen the trainers' capabilities and professionalisation, focusing on linguistic and digital competencies and the development of new teaching methodologies, particularly emphasising environmental sustainability. O2 - To enhance the European dimension and expand professional networks across Europe. O3 - To increase students' opportunities in acquiring competencies and skills (personal, linguistic, and digital). O4 - To promote values of inclusion, diversity, tolerance, and democratic participation. O5 - To consolidate CRESOL as a benchmark in training for sustainable, social, and solidary development. This purpose aligns with CRESOL's overarching needs in adult education, addressing the organisational, trainers', and students' requirements through a thorough needs analysis.

Background

The ATLASS project, spearheaded by Associació Cultural CRESOL, focuses on adult education, closely collaborating with the Atlas Language Institute as the hosting entity. Specialising in training both teachers and students, the Institute plays a pivotal role in the development and delivery of educational programmes. The initiative is designed to meet the Erasmus quality standards in adult education, aligning with the cross-cutting priorities of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Social Inclusion and Diversity, Environmental Responsibility and Sustainability, Digitalisation, and Active Participation in the European Education Framework. The selected host organisation aligns with CRESOL's strategy, priorities, and the project's strategic goals, collectively working to foster a positive and lasting change, enhancing the quality and reach of adult education in the European context.
