Objectives

With this project we wanted: - To boost teachers' and students' acquisition of technological skills with new teaching learning methods thanks to an extra instruction in European Countries. - To improve either teachers and students' linguistic and intercultural competences (teachers who took part on the movilities and teachers and students who did not) - To give teachers the chance to live new learning experiences that lead them to a reflexion upon their teaching routines and help them improve them by adding new challenges and changes.

Background

Berrio -Otxoa school is currently working on innovation implementing new ways of teaching by carrying out projects and using new technologies from pre- primary levels, teachers from school need to learn about how to properly use technology in the classroom in order to improve the use of them. The school has also opted for intensifying the teaching of the third and fourth language by adding more hours of these languages in the students schedules teaching different subjects using foreign languages as working languages. However, there is still a need of both students and teachers to improve their skills in those languages. The percentage of teachers with C1 level is still low comparing to the level that we as school want to achieve. The School is currently working on its Internationalisation by having created an Erasmus Plan and having an International Team that ensures that different cultures and ways to relate to each other are being taught. It is clue that teachers themselves get involve in this School Internationalisation Project.
