The main objectives pursued were to be able to establish relationships with other centers, located throughout the globe, in order to learn about their realities and to be able to find tools and points of union that would allow us to develop the teaching work of our institute in a way innovative, creative and aligned with an international project that would allow both teachers and students to improve their skills and be more aware of the world around them. It was also expected that within the institute not only those who had participated in the mobility would benefit, but also that the students who wanted to go and had not been able to do so would feel motivated to improve with the hope of being able to participate in future projects. Finally, it was expected that the project would function as an introduction to the different Erasmus projects, with the intention of being able to request more complex projects in the future that would allow greater internationalization of our institution and be able to offer larger mobilities, both to students and to teachers
Regarding the context of the project, it was conceived as a tool to offer students a global, real and tangible perspective of the world around them beyond their reality. That is why the name sowing diversity was chosen, since it wanted to be a clear declaration of intentions in which the Erasmus project functioned as the fertilizer that these seeds need to be able to germinate in the world. The project was conceived as a promoter of studies, and since its objective was for students to aspire to improve their grades in order to be chosen for this project and to be able to visit new places that completely escape their reality, since the The area we are in is extremely depressed. The context of this project is framed within what our institute is, one located in a peripheral neighborhood of the city, not only in an urban manner, but also geographically, since it is located on a peninsula within the island, which makes its configuration more similar to that of a traditional town and the daily life of students is influenced by these characteristics.
