In addition, by introducing the Stembach student body to this project, a new goal was also achieved: - To introduce this type of student body to important international research centres
In our organization we already had extensive experience in KA1 and KA2 of higher education and also in KA1 of vocational training, both in our own projects and participating in consortia. Last year a project for school education was carried out for the first time, to internationalize our educational centre, which is focus mainly on secondary education. International activities with school education have been carried out since the 1990s, through student exchange programs with public educational centres in the European Union. We also have extensive experience in organizing study trips to Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy. In the 2018/2019 academic year, the baccalaureate of excellence in science and technology (STEMBach) was implemented in our centre and we have given it an international dimension with visits to leading research centres in other countries. In addition, two secondary and high school teachers have participated in this project who have expanded their training in centres in Italy and France with learning mobilities by observation (Job-Shadowing).
