Background

Public secondary, high school and vocational training center located in the midlands of the northern part of the island of Tenerife. With around 350 students, half of them in vocational training from the Agrarian and IT and Communications professional families, and about 50 teachers, our center welcomes young people from the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla and surrounding areas. The socio-economic profile of the families in the educational community is generally medium-low; The main economic activity is agriculture and/or the service sector. Our students, in general, do not have the same opportunities as other students from centers that develop in urban environments with a higher sociocultural and economic level. For this reason, we promote and encourage the training of students abroad and European coexistence, as a driving force to achieve better opportunities for personal and academic development. We are also a Center for students with Motor Disabilities (MOT) and with a track record of more than 20 years in mobility projects, initially only in the field of secondary education, both in individual projects and as part of a consortium; and from 2010 also in the field of vocational training and high education.
