The objectives we set for ourselves were: To study significantly and with didactic use the traces that ancient civilization left in European countries, with special attention to the special needs of students. To study and assess the necessity of sustainability of archaeological sites and remains with their surrounding environment. To enhance the common European culture through archaeological and museum remains. To promote the transcendent feeling of a common European history: history and humanities accessible to everyone.
Our school encompasses compulsory secondary education (ESO), both daytime and evening baccalaureate, basic vocational training cycles (basic ICT and communications vocational training, and basic agricultural activities vocational training), middle and higher vocational training cycles (in ICT), and a cybersecurity specialization course. The school has a total of 798 students and 120 teachers; non-teaching staff amounts to 18 people. The student body is mostly local, although there are students from neighboring towns, particularly in vocational training. The school has been implementing the European Language Portfolio since the 2018 academic year and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in ESO since 2016. The school began its Erasmus+ journey in the 2018 academic year, and since then, the number of driving forces within the educational community has increased exponentially.
