For this project, we set out to achieve a total of three objectives related to the needs detected in our organisation The first, "To educate our entire educational community in the conviction that sustainability practices are an inalienable conduct in our daily lives". We believe that education for sustainability is an urgent priority and observing how other organisations work will help us to implement concrete actions to achieve this goal. The second objective, "To achieve an operational digital literacy among our educational community". Our school is undergoing a digital transformation with an ongoing Digital Plan in which we consider the improvement of the digital competence of the entire educational community to be a key point. Observing how different digital tools are used, or the same ones but in different ways, can help us to implement more effective strategies. The third, "Establish effective dynamics of inclusion and integration of diversity in all processes, practices and human relations in our centre". We intended through observation, to enrich ourselves from the actions that are being carried out in other centres.
This project was born out of our organisation's interest in continuing with our internationalisation process and, through it, improving the quality of the education we offer. IES Rosalía de Castro is a public school that has always been characterised by its innovative nature and its outward-looking approach. Participating in the Erasmus+ Programme in general and through this project in particular, will allow us to meet the challenges and needs detected and to continue advancing in accordance with the basic principles of the Programme that we consider part of our identity as a centre.
