“Head to Europe” had established the following objectives: - Giving the management team the opportunity to learn new management and organization techniques for our school through observation in an experienced foreign school. - Improving in the linguistic skills of our teachers, training them for quality teaching, as well as improving their motivation and giving them the opportunity to put their training into practice. - Motivating our students to continue working on their training and give them the opportunity to see other European environments first-hand. - Learning about new pedagogical methodologies that allow us to improve the quality of teaching in our school, which we hope will result in a better job opportunity for our students and better attention to unmotivated students and also to those with outstanding abilities. - Strengthening the collaborative relationship with our European partners and establishing new ones with other schools to carry out future joint projects with exchanges of good practices.
"Head to Europe" is a project with which I.E.S. Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza aims to give a European dimension to our educational community and to the town of Andújar. Based on the European objectives of digitization, integration and awareness of climate change, we designed a series of activities that included teacher training courses, observation stays and mobility with students. This project would give a great boost to the teachings of our center, especially the bilingualism project. providing the teaching staff with new tools and methodologies, from which the students will benefit. It would also mean progress in the digitization of the center both in the field of management and communication and in the day-to-day in the classroom. Mobilities would allow us to place our school and our locality in Europe and would allow us to form part of the European school network.
