With the mobility provided by the Erasmus program, we could achieve the following aims, both for the students and for the school: -Strengthen the abilities and competencies of the students in the health and socio-sanitary fields in an environment that will give them quality in their training. They had the opportunity to show and consolidate their knowledge and abilities, which will facilitate their job in the professional world. -Provide our students the opportunity to experience the working world in many ways: seeing different professional places in the Czech that help them learn new ways to work and open their horizons to new activities that promote their autonomy. This also strengthened the professional and educational web in the EU, promoting their social skills and the practice of foreign languages (in this case, English).
Our Sanitary and SOcio-sanitary Vocational Training Courses must train our students to face many challenges that will build them into capable professional workers. The pandemic has affected them in many ways: -As for their formation, lockdowns have altered the normal programmation and have complicated face-to-face sessions. It has also made it difficult to carry out excursions and visits that would have been otherwise normal and that were traditionally useful for the student to acquire an idea about challenges, professional options, and realities. -In their professional life they will be asked to be efficient and experienced about the proper procedures and techniques. The pandemic, the demographic challenge, and the lack of resources will put extra pressure on the fact that they need to be well-equipped with the proper competencies right from the start.
