Through this project, we wanted to maintain and in the future to increase, the number of Vocational Training students participating in international mobility activities. We have sought to advance in the process of internationalisation of our school, and in the medium and long term, to match the international mobility of these students with those studying Higher Education programmes. A second objective has been to promote the improvement of language skills, which are very important in our professional sector, as well as the development of students' personal and professional competences. And finally, we wanted to promote international culture in our school, through the perception of the value of mobility experiences and the feeling of belonging and European citizenship.
ESTUDIS D'HOTELERIA I TURISME CETT S.A. is the legal name of the CETT-UB, a private training campus specialising in Tourism, Hotel Management and Gastronomy studies affiliated to the University of Barcelona. CETT UB offers all levels of official training: intermediate vocational training, short cycle, undergraduate and postgraduate university training, university master's degrees, lifelong learning for professionals and tailor-made courses for companies. Our project "Internships in European hospitality companies for vocational training students" is part of the general internationalisation strategy of the CETT Professional Technical School and has been designed to promote the international training activities for their students performing Intermediate level VET Cycles in Cookery, Gastronomy and Catering Services.
