The objectives pursued with this project are the following: - To increase intercultural and European feeling. To increase the participants' personal growth by improving the skills of the participating students and staff and their ability to function personally and professionally in other societies and cultures of the European Union. At the school level, to invest our efforts in international projection as a measure to enhance the international education and training dimension, to promote transnational cooperation between schools in the EU. - To improve linguistic skills: focused on enhancing communication in the different EU states, using both the official language and any other language used in it. Although the bilingual offer is entering our school in vocational training, it is still a pending subject for our students. The internationalization of the productive and industrial sectors makes this competition more than necessary. - To improve professional skills by promoting employability options of our students, opening horizons and creating exchange ties between other related schools and companies.
"Azuer" HIgh School is located in Manzanares (Ciudad Real). In addition to compulsory secondary education and baccalaureate, Vocational Training on different fields is provided, such as: - Installation and maintenance - Electricity-Electronics - Mechanical manufacturing - Physical sports activities - Administration, Management and Finance. All of them are specified in Training Cycles at different levels: from basic vocational training, intermediate level training cycles (both included in this project), degree training cycles higher education and specialization courses. Each one is made up of two academic years except for specialization courses. The school is located in an area closely linked to the agricultural sector, although it is also an industrialized area due to good communication routes with the rest of the peninsula and region (Highway A4, A43 and train and bus connection to Madrid, Andalusia, Levante and Ciudad Real). This favors the professional development of our students in the different economic sectors, focusing on secondary and tertiary due to the teachings offered.
